On March 19, the 197th "Dialogue with Faith" themed educational activity sponsored by the Youth League Committee of the University and undertaken by the Youth League Committee of the College of Physics and Electronic Science was held in Room F347, Area A, Wenlan Building. With the theme of "Walking against the wind, living toward the Sun, and making the future foreseeable", Du Wei, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the College, served as the keynote speaker and more than 100 students participated in the event. The Class 2024 counselor Su Heng presided over the activity.

With the construction of study style as the core and academic performance in the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, Du Wei systematically analyzed the root causes of academic difficulties from the four dimensions of "facing reality, rational attribution, three black holes, and the way to study", guided students to face reality and rational attribution, and suggested solving learning problems through scientific planning and interaction between teachers and students. He especially emphasized the important value of "setback education" : "Failure is a signpost of growth, and true confidence comes from the courage to face the problem." After the activity, the students said that they would adjust their learning strategies and meet the challenges of the new semester with a more active attitude.
