On August 10, the 2000 alumni of the School of Physical and Electronic Sciences returned to their Alma mater for the 20th anniversary of their graduation. Xu Shuangqing, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the University, attended the exchange activity between teachers and students and delivered a speech. Co-operative Development Office, College leaders and faculty representatives attended the event.

Xu Shuangqing first delivered a speech on behalf of the school. He extended a warm welcome to all the alumni and reviewed the development of the school together with all the alumni. At the same time, he expressed his gratitude to all the alumni for their care and support for a long time. We will work together to promote the goal of building an internationally renowned first-class normal university.

Xie Deren, secretary of the Party Committee of the College, introduced the achievements of leapfrog development made by the college in recent years, affirmed the contributions of alumni to the society in different fields, and looked forward to further strengthening exchanges and cooperation with alumni to promote the continuous progress of the school and the college in teaching, scientific research, social services and other aspects.

Faculty representatives Wang Chunxing, Li Jian, Wang Gongtang, GUI Weiling, Ma Junying, Wang Jingjing, etc., delivered speeches respectively. Sun Liang, instructor of Grade 2000, expressed his satisfaction to the achievements made by the alumni in various fields through video. He hoped that everyone could actively participate in the development and construction of the college, and wished all the alumni a new chapter in their future life.

Alumni representatives Liu Wenxing, Fan Xilong, Yang Zhuoxing, Li Shouyou and Liu Xuewei emotively reviewed their school years and career development and spiritual journey after graduation, expressed their gratitude for the careful training and teaching of the school, and felt proud of the rapid development and outstanding achievements of the school in recent years. During the event, the Alumni Fund of "The Power of Things" initiated by the class of 2000 alumni was officially launched. The fund will focus on professional learning, innovation and entrepreneurship and science and technology competition for students of the School of Physics and Electronic Science, and provide strong support for the school to cultivate high-quality talents with both morality and talent, all-round development, and meet the development requirements of new quality productivity.
