On the afternoon of December 12, the School of Physics and Electronic Science held a lecture on the theme of "Safety Education into Campus, Escort Youth with Growth" in the lecture Hall 105 of Wenchang Building. Liu Chao, resident police officer of Shandong Normal University, was invited as the keynote speaker. Du Wei, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the College, Fang Fang, director of the Student Affairs Office and secretary of the Youth League Committee of the College attended the lecture, and more than 300 students from the class of 2024 attended the lecture. The lecture was hosted by Su Heng, counselor of the Class of 2024.

Liu Chao made a wonderful and vivid explanation around the three "safety" and one "far away". He explained that the three "security" refers to national security, personal security, and network security; A "stay away" means stay away from cults and illegal religions. Security is not only a key line of defense for individual well-being, but also a core cornerstone of social progress. Combining real cases that happened around students, Liu reminded students to improve their ability to identify and resist illegal religious activities, and pay attention to the impact of their behavior and speech on the Internet.

After the meeting, Su Heng stressed that safety education is the top priority, and I hope that students must be vigilant, keep safety education knowledge in mind, constantly enhance their awareness of prevention, always pay attention to potential risks in daily life, and actively report all kinds of safety hazards and illegal behaviors while restricting themselves.
