In order to accelerate the construction of the Future Information Technology College, on the afternoon of April 15th, Zheng Kegang, the director of the Development Planning and Discipline Construction Office, Wang Meiping, the deputy director, Yuan Hualong and others came to our college for a special research. Du Wei, the deputy secretary of the college's Party committee, Wang Jingjing, the vice president, and representatives of the backbone teachers of the Electronics Department participated in the discussion and exchange.

Du Wei expressed his warm welcome to the research team and briefly introduced the basic situation and teaching staff of the college. Wang Jingjing, with the help of a PPT, elaborated on the college's experiences and practices in discipline construction, talent cultivation, and scientific research innovation. The teacher representatives attending the meeting put forward their own opinions and suggestions on the establishment of the Future Information Technology College. Both sides conducted in-depth discussions on specific issues such as the management model, target positioning, and school-enterprise cooperation of the Future Information Technology College.

Zheng Kegang introduced the planning ideas and construction goals of the school's future Information Technology College. He stated that the future construction of the School of Technology and Information should closely align with national strategic demands, focus on cutting-edge scientific and technological fields, innovate systems and mechanisms, promote the integration of disciplines, and cultivate forward-looking and innovative compound talents. It is hoped that communication and exchanges will be further strengthened in the future to jointly explore new paths for the high-quality development of the School of Information Technology.

This research has broadened the thinking for the establishment of the Future Information Technology College of our university. In the next step, the college will further improve the construction plan based on the results of the symposium and exchange, and promote the high-quality and characteristic development of the Future Information Technology College.
