On November 18, the mid-term evaluation meeting of the National key research and development program "Topological Light Field and Photonics microstructure state regulation and Principle Devices" was held at the College of Physics and Electronic Science on the Changqinghu Campus of Shandong Normal University. The project was undertaken by CAI Yangjian, a professor at Shandong Normal University, in collaboration with Nankai University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Peking University, Fudan University and Nanjing University. Zhang Jian, President of Shandong Normal University, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The chief scientist of the project, Professor Chen Zhigang from Nankai University, members of the project team, CAI Yangjian, well-known domestic experts and scholars, and responsible comrades of the College and Science and Technology Department attended the meeting.

In his speech, Zhang Jian, on behalf of the school, welcomed the arrival of experts and scholars, and briefly introduced the development history of the school and the School of Physical and Electronic Science. Zhang Jian said that since the launch of the project, the experts have been strongly supported, I hope that the experts put forward valuable opinions and suggestions for the further development of the project, but also hope that the project team to strengthen exchanges and cooperation, further improve the scientific and practical research, and strive to make new breakthroughs.

Chen Zhigang, as the project leader, introduced the overall situation of the project, subject setting, overall progress, assessment indicators and completion. Then the four research groups reported their research results and the implementation of the project in the middle of the project.

The participating experts fully affirmed the achievements and completion of the project in the middle period, and put forward constructive opinions and suggestions on the shortcomings in the project and the next development. They hoped that the project should conduct high-quality research in application on the basis of high-quality theory and experiment.
