At the meeting, Mr. Xie Deren extended a warm welcome to the visit of Mr. Chen Xianfeng and his delegation and gave a comprehensive and detailed explanation of the current situation of the internationalization of our school. Afterwards, Zhang Rongrong gave a detailed introduction to the internationalisation of the School of Physics and Astronomy of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in three aspects: internationalisation of the faculty, internationalisation of talent training and international academic influence, and put forward the development goal of "creating a new pattern of internationalisation and achieving a higher level and deeper opening to the outside world". The two sides then had an in-depth discussion on the internationalisation of the two universities at this stage and fully exchanged views.
