From October 29 to November 2, the 14th "Challenge Cup" Qin Chuangyuan China College Students Entrepreneurship Plan Competition was held at Xi 'an Jiaotong University. The school project "Spotless - Self-cleaning and high-efficiency coating dedicated to rural photovoltaic power generation" won the main competition silver award, and the project "A Probe into the Truth - Endoscopy Imaging sensor for Neurosurgery based on cavity optical coherence" won the main competition Bronze award, and the overall number of award-winning projects made new breakthroughs.

During the finals, Yin Tao, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the University, and Du Wei, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the University, went to the competition to express condolences to the participating teams, and fully affirmed the positive and serious attitude of the teachers and students of the team. During the competition, the members of the tacit cooperation, facing the difficulties, each brainstorming is the collision of innovation sparks, showing the good quality and vigorous upward spirit of the students, for the college won honor.

The "Challenge Cup" series competition is co-sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the China Association for Science and Technology, the All-China Federation of Students and local and provincial governments. It is known as the "Olympic" event of scientific and technological innovation and entrepreneurship for Chinese college students, and is currently the most concerned and popular national competition for domestic college students. Among them, the "Challenge Cup" China College Students Entrepreneurship Plan Competition was initiated by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League in 1999, held every two years, has been successfully held 14 times, is one of the most concerned about the national entrepreneurship competition of domestic college students. A total of 839 projects from 412 domestic universities and 14 international universities entered the national final.
