To promote the in-depth and solid implementation of the study and education on the spirit of the Central Eight-point Regulation and further strengthen the Party spirit cultivation of retired Party members, on April 25th, the Party Committees of the Administrative Department, the Department of Marxism, and the School of Physics and Electronics jointly organized retired Party members to visit the Zibo Yiyuan 618 Radio Station Red Education Base to carry out a theme party day activity titled "Seeking Red Radio Waves, Embarking on a New Journey of Progress". Zhang Hui, the Party Secretary of the Administrative Department, Jin Peng, the Deputy Secretary and Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary, Huang Chunxia, the Deputy Secretary, Pan Lei, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Marxism, Du Wei, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Physics and Electronics, and Liu Li, the Deputy Director of the Department of Retirees' Work, attended the event.

At the event site, under the guidance of the tour guide, the veteran Party members visited the former site of Radio 618 in an orderly manner. The historical pictures, precious cultural relics and detailed written materials displayed in the tunnel vividly present that arduous yet passionate period of time. As a war preparedness radio station during the special period, Radio 618 shoulders the important responsibility of conveying crucial information and safeguarding national security. Behind it lies the hard work and sacrifice of the revolutionary predecessors. Through the detailed explanations of the tour guide, the veteran Party members seemed to travel through time and space, personally experiencing the great spirit of the revolutionary predecessors who held their posts and made selfless contributions in the harsh environment of those days. From time to time, everyone stopped to gaze and exchanged their inner feelings with each other, gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation of the tremendous contributions made by the revolutionary predecessors to the country and the people. In front of each display case, the veteran Party members carefully examined the exhibits, recalling the glorious past and cherishing the happy life they have now.

This event provided retired veteran Party members with a profound education in Party spirit and a spiritual cleansing. They all expressed that although they have retired, they will always remember their identity as Party members, remain true to their original aspiration, continue to contribute their remaining energy, and keep making their own contributions to the cause of the Party and the people. At the same time, it is also hoped that the younger generation of Party members can carry forward the red gene, promote the revolutionary spirit, be strict with themselves, strengthen the style of work, maintain close ties with the people, actively take on responsibilities and act in the new era and new journey, and strive to realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

On that day, the veteran Party members also visited the first batch of Qilu models for rural revitalization in Shandong Province - the Yiheyuan Rural Complex in Yiyuan County, and learned about the local characteristic path of rural revitalization featuring "art revitalizing the countryside, culture enriching the countryside, industry enriching the people, and integrated development of agriculture, culture and tourism".
